"Many thanks to you Cezar and Angeline for the home inspection that you did on our behalf. You were both professional, knowledgeable, personable and very detailed. You inspected the property with organization and precision and we couldn't have asked for a better company to make sure that we were making a good investment. We received our report the same day as advertised and it was well put together and easy to read. I would recommend Prodigal Home inspections to anyone that I know needing a home inspection. May God bless you and your family." ~Denisia V.

The above image was based on a study done by the National Association of Home Builders & Bank of America. Obviously there is no hard and fast guide as to how long home systems and components will last. Therefore, we have also included an expected lifespan chart compiled by InterNACHI - please see below.
The following chart created by InterNACHI details the predicted life expectancy of appliances, products, materials, systems and components for homes in the state of Florida. While many components and systems in homes located in Florida and the surrounding area have service life expectancies that are comparable to those anywhere else in the U.S., those items that are regularly exposed to the elements, including saltwater, wind, sun and heat, are particularly vulnerable to premature failure compared to items installed in homes located elsewhere. These guidelines attempt to address those differences.
This is what happens when the gutters are missing their downspout. Water was just pouring out onto the stucco. Note the concrete block step cracks forming behind the stucco.
